I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP #5512), a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA) and a certified teacher with the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA). I have a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. I also have additional training in various modalities of play therapy (individual and child-parent dyad work), and I am working towards certification as a registered Play Therapist.

My approach to therapy is integrative. I practice predominantly from a Synergetic Play Therapy and Child-Centered Play Therapy perspective. These approaches emphasize children’s natural propensity toward growth and support the regulation of their nervous system. I also incorporate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to meet the unique needs of the children I work with. I have special interest in working children between the ages of 4-14, especially those who struggle with dysregulation and behavioural challenges.

I believe that all children deserve a play therapy experience to allow them to build confidence, explore difficulties, and express their authentic feelings. I recognize the importance of supporting the family system and building relationships so I intentionally collaborate with caregivers to set attainable goals for their children and help them on this journey. I will keep you informed of your child’s progress and regularly check in to see how things are going at home and school.

Please read the Assessment, Child Therapy and Parent Consultation sections if you would like more specific information on services that may be helpful for you or your child.
